Hilda Robinson

–

Del Rio, Texas

We celebrate the life and legacy of Hilda Robinson, born October 27, 1952, in Wichita, Kansas. A dedicated woman of faith, Hilda was a beacon of love and loyalty, whose radiant spirit touched all who were privileged to know her. Hilda’s smart wit and warm heart left a memorable impression on friends, family, and acquaintances alike. Her journey took her to many places around the world, from Germany to the Philippines, each location enriching her life and leaving behind a trail of cherished memories.

Hilda was a woman devoted to service, a commitment reflected in her career with the United States Border Patrol, from which she retired. Yet, the most profound part of her life was undoubtedly her family, which she held dear above all else. She was a loving wife to Roberto Robinson and a nurturing mother to Adrianna Patino and Robert Robinson. Hilda's love extended beyond her immediate family to her sisters, Rebecca Rios and Anna Rumbarger, and her seven beloved grandchildren. She found joy in simple pleasures like going to the movies, reading, and most importantly, spending time with her family.

Hilda's life was an embodiment of the scripture verse, "Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them" (1 John 4:16). This verse was the compass by which she navigated her life, and she leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. Hilda was preceded in death by her parents, Natividad and Georgina Rios, yet her spirit lives on in the many lives she touched.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Memorial Funeral Chapels in Eagle Pass on Wednesday, May 6th, 2026 at 2:00 pm, with a Rosary to follow at 5:00 pm. A final viewing will take place on Thursday, May 7th, 2026 at 9:00 am. The Mass will be held on the same day at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church, followed by the burial at Our Lady of Refuge Cemetery at 12:00 pm.

We encourage all who knew Hilda to share their memories and upload photos to her memorial page, keeping her spirit alive in the stories we share and the love we remember.
