We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Jorge David Escareño, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Born in Eagle Pass, TX, on May 24, 1964, Jorge David touched countless lives with his generosity, love, and compassion. He was a beacon of light for his family and community, his love for them surpassed only by his dedication to helping others. In the words of William Arthur Ward: "Greatness is not found in possessions, power, position, or prestige. It is discovered in goodness, humility, service, and character."
Jorge David spent a large portion of his life in the medical field, a testament to his inherent desire to care for others. His career was much more than a profession to him; it was a means to touch lives, to spread love, and to make a difference. He was a pillar of strength and resilience, a provider of comfort and care, and a symbol of unwavering commitment to those he served. He embodied the words of Hippocrates, "Wherever the art of medicine is loved, there is also a love of humanity."
Jorge David leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory. He is survived by his devoted wife, Martha Escareño; his loving daughters, Jessica (Christian) Alvarado and Kathy Escareño; and his precious grandchildren, Maxine Grace and Christian Matthew. Jorge David was preceded in death by his parents, Adan and Mercedes Escareño. His legacy will continue to live on through his family and the countless lives he touched.
Please join us in remembering and celebrating the life of Jorge David Escareño. We encourage you to share your favorite stories, memories, and photos of Jorge David on the memorial page. Your shared experiences will help keep his spirit alive and remind us all of the wonderful man that he was. As the poet Rumi once said, “Goodbyes are only for those who love with their eyes.
