Maria Luisa Ramirez

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maria Luisa Ramirez, who left us on February 16, 2025. Born in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico on October 8, 1972, Maria moved to Eagle Pass, Texas where she tirelessly built a life of love, warmth, and laughter. Maya Angelou once said, "My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style." Maria truly embodied this ethos in her life, turning each day into a celebration of living, sharing her infectious laughter, and spreading warmth to all those who had the fortune to know her.

Maria, a devoted wife and loving mother, was the heart and soul of her family. Her marriage to Domingo Ramirez was a testament of true love and commitment, with their bond being an enduring source of strength and inspiration for their children, Jesus and Maria Ramirez. They will remember her as the guiding light that nourished their path with love, wisdom, and courage. She was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio Carillo and Delia Martinez, who instilled in her the values of hard work, compassion, and integrity that she carried throughout her life.

Maria's life was a beautiful tapestry of love, resilience, and joy, vibrant and filled with memorable moments. Her spirit will continue to live on, not only in the hearts of her family, but also in those of the many lives she touched. Her laughter, her wisdom, and her unwavering love will be dearly missed, but never forgotten.

A viewing will be held for Maria on Monday, February 17, 2025 at 2:00pm CST at the Memorial Funeral Chapels in Eagle Pass, with address 1705 Del Rio Boulevard, Eagle Pass, Texas, 78852. A Rosary will follow at the same location at 6:00pm CST.
