Maria de Jesus Rosales

Maria Rosales, born on June 16, 1950, in Santa Teresa, Durango, Mexico, was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her faith was the beacon that guided her throughout her life. As Saint Teresa of Avila once said, "Let nothing disturb thee; Let nothing dismay thee: All thing pass; God never changes." Maria's unwavering Catholic faith was her rock, her constant in a world that was always changing. Her love for her family was as unconditional and enduring as her faith.

Maria resided in Eagle Pass, Texas. She was a pillar of strength and the matriarch of her family. Her legacy is survived by her children Hilda Cardenas, San Rosales, Blas Rosales, Anabel Garza, Maria Cardenas, and Diana Garza. Each of her children carries with them the strength, faith, and love that Maria was known for. Seh had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. She was a beacon of light in their lives, guiding them with her wisdom and love. Maria was preceded in death by her parents, Silvano Espino, and Florencia Reyes.

A viewing will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025, at 2:00 PM CST at the Memorial Funeral Chapels located at 1705 Del Rio Boulevard, Eagle Pass, Texas, 78852, followed by the Rosary at 5:00 PM CST. Another viewing will take place the following day, Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 9:00 AM CST, leading up to the Mass at 1:00 PM CST at St. Joseph Catholic Church located at 800 North Comal Street, Eagle Pass, Texas, 78852. As St. Francis de Sales said, "Do not fear what may happen tomorrow. The same loving Father who cares for you today will care for you tomorrow and every day."
