Martha Aguilar

Martha Aguilar, a pillar of her community in Eagle Pass, Texas, and a beloved mother, was born on March 10, 1954, in the very town she called home for her entire life. She was a woman of indomitable spirit, unfailing love, and a sense of humor that could brighten even the darkest days. As Robert Ingersoll once said, "We rise by lifting others," and Martha lived her life with this as her guiding principle. She dedicated her life to her family, ensuring that her children would have a life full of love, laughter, and opportunities.

Martha is survived by her devoted children; Romanita Andrade, Consuelo Lira, Dora Lira, Maribel Saucedo, Oscar Lira, and Olga Lira. Each one of them carries forward her legacy of love and strength. She was their North Star, guiding them through life's ups and downs with her wisdom, grace, and boundless love. Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Leopoldo and Romana Aguilar, who instilled in her the values of family, kindness, and resilience.

Martha's life was a testament to the power of love and the strength of the human spirit. She touched countless lives and left an indelible mark on her community. Her memory will be honored with a viewing on Monday, December 30, 2024, at 2:00 pm CST at the Memorial Funeral Chapels located at 1705 Del Rio Boulevard, Eagle Pass, Texas, 78852. A rosary will be held on the same day at 6:00 pm CST at the same location. Another viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at 9:00 am CST, followed by a Mass at 11:00 am CST at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Mission located at 1148 North Street, Eagle Pass, Texas, 78852.
